Oh, no!
The agony aside, I think this may be the most original metaphor I’ve ever seen.
Thank you! Currently on vacation, spending a lot of energy trying not to imagine ocean creatures. We went to Lake Michigan when I was a kid. 🙂
…and I immediately saw the flip side of this and marveled at how shimmeringly mysterious our internal jellyfish can be. Loved this!
Thanks, complynn! If only I could befriend my mental jellyfish and have it work for me, not against!
oh i think i have a jellyfish in my mind as well sometimes…and ouch….the stings hurt..
I have never been stung before, but I think about it every time I step into the ocean!
we used to throw jellyfish at each other at camp…those suckers hurt…

Brilliant!
Thank you!
A jellyfish in your mind? Creative and icky. Love it!
Thanks, Zouxzoux!
I loved this!
Thanks very much, Audrey!
awesome! 🙂
There is a wry and humourous quality about your writing. I like it!
Thanks, Rallentanda! That does seem to be pretty consistent for me … even with a serious subject, I sort of glance at it from the side. Glad you like it!
