Jagged Teeth

Connected by fences
jagged teeth
of corn

and crows

a hard pack of dirt
a skim of snow

on more than one farm
in more than one state

ponies

fat as sparrows
set loose
in fallow fields

to eat what’s left.

  1. Awesome blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused ..
    Any recommendations? Many thanks!

    • Thanks! I would suggest you start with WordPress. There’s a lot you can do with it — more than I’m doing currently. I also suggest that you pay the small annual fee that lets you have your own web address rather than the free one that ends with .wordpress.com. There are a lot of writers here, so you should see some great examples of how people are using it. Good luck!
